About me

Teacher and artist

Art has always been a passion of mine. I attended art school in Utrecht and graduated with my bachelor degree in illustration. After art school, I got my degree in teaching. I spend my days being creative in for both my jobs.

Inspiration

I get my inspiration from fairy tales, folklore, myths and legends. I enjoy to read and watching fantasy shows. Nature and animals are also a source of inspiration in my artwork.

I also like to write down my imagination and create stories that accompany my illustrations.

More art

My love for the creative field is endless. Besides making traditional art, I also venture in creating digitally. I love learning new techniques and hording new art supplies.

I’m currently learning how to sow stuffed animals and creating figurines with polymer clay.
